We loved his markings when we picked him out at the SPCA over 14 years ago. DH wanted to name him Blackbeard but it didn't stick probably because it was too long of a name. We settled on the name Nero because we felt he has the same personality as the ancient Caesar. He was the caesar that played the fiddle while Rome was burning to the ground. He was quite a tyrant. And so was our Nero. :)
You were a royal pain in the butt at times but you were our pain in the butt. We will miss you.
