You scratch my back....

So I haven't been doing very well at updating lately. I feel like I lost my mojo so I am going to try a new tactic. I need some practice with my camera and I have recently joined and online photography class so I thought I would try to post a picture every few days and talk about it. Please feel free to comment on what you think of the picture and even how you would have improved it. I was using my zoom at it's max on this shot because I didn't want to get to close in case I gave them a scare and they stopped. In hind sight I would have tried to move a bit left or right so it doesn't look like there is a bucket coming out of their head. I'm getting better at looking around for distractions but I was so occupied with trying to quickly get the shot that I didn't look around. I still think it is a cool picture : )

It takes a very trained eye in my opnion to have all photos w/o distractions. I never even noticed the bucket till you mentioned it :) The photo is very cute. What a great idea....I might do the same once we start the course. Only another 4 days!!!

I agree that it is hard to get pics without distractions...but in the end, isn't better to have the pic with distractions than missing the whole thing trying to avoid them :-)

compupro - I can't wait to start the photography course - I have so much to learn. I just hope I can keep up. And I am very excited to see yours and everyone else's pictures!!
Jennnypooh - I totally agree! I would still take the shot even if it was not great and then I should try to move to a new angle.

it is a good picture and great zoom but the bucket now that you mention it is distracting, I may have never seen it if you hadn't mentioned it :o)
